I can't lose that hope- It was my only gift. I can't hold onto it much longer- So please stop pushing it. I can't forget the past- It just keeps coming back. I can't understand the misery- And why it always follows me. I have my ups and downs, My highs and lows, But it never seems to linger long. I wonder when my heart will mend, I wonder if It'll ever stay that way all that long. |
